Oh what a night!

Cookstown Swimming Club champions of Forest Feast AquaSprint Div2 2019!

Once again it was our strong relay performances, that sealed our promotion to Div1, winning 3 out of 4 races in the opening medley relays.

A very exciting night, with strong competition from Dungannon and Ballymena, seeing Dungannon taking the lead after the butterfly.

Cookstown held their nerve and were leading by 4 points going into the freestyle relays.

CSC Swimmers at DAY 3 ULSTER LC

Adam Geddis has a very leisurely 200m back heat of 2.20:12 which was enough to bring him back for the 15yrs+ final in which he swam close to his PB and took gold in a time of 2.12.80, about 8 secs ahead of second place.
Kelly made it back for both finals of 50m fly and 100m free.
She finished 6th in final of 50fly just over PB. Meanwhile she had two really good swims in heat and then final of 100m free when she got consecutively closer to that elusive sub 60 sec time with heat swim of 1.00:59 and just missing bronze medal with another shave off her time getting it down to 1.00:22.

Well done to Matthew Moan who had PBS in 50m free 29.15 and 100m fly 1.17:95???
